I woke up this morning thinking about Bhutan.  I don’t really know why.  It might have been because I went to a talk with my girl J given by the folks over at GPI Atlantic.  They had talked about their experience consulting with the Bhutanese government, helping them develop the measures for Gross National Happiness…but that was almost a month ago.

And yet there I was waking up on this chilly maritime morning with Bhutan on my mind.  Then lo and behold I opened up the ol’ g mail and ofcourse I find a delicate little message from my sercret-internet-art-innovation-heartthrob- jonathon harris alerting me of the completion of his latest masterful work.

Harris’ Balloons of Bhutan project not only illuminates the importance of thinking past gross domestic product as the measure of a nation’s worth, but also reminds us that a nation is made by it’s people.

Spend some time with the people of Bhutan.  Wake up with them.
