On this day we are meant to remember.  But what do we forget in this time of remembering?  In Halifax the Mayor forgot the supposed sanctity of this day.   And as he stood remembering, he was probably already forgetting that he was doing this.

In North Korea, six years ago 30,000 children remembered to lift their appropriately colored pages at the appropriate time.  All this for Kim Jung Il’s mass games.  I wonder if he has forgotten what they remembered for him…
